NFL World Reacts to Derek Carr's Goodbye To Raiders

Derek Carr has officially posted his farewell to Raider Nation this Thursday morning.  In a tweet expressing gratitude to the franchise, Carr said 'goodbye' to Raider fans today and claimed that he never envisioned his Las Vegas career ending this way

That fire burning inside of me to win a championship still rages," Carr said. "A fire no man can extinguish; only God. So I look forward to a new city and a new team who, no matter the circumstance, will get everything I have

The NFL world certainly has a lot to say about Carr's goodbye to the Raiders this Thursday

NFL insider Jordan Schultz wrote, "Forever a Raider DC!" in response to the quarterback's tweet

While Schultz might believe that Carr is forever a Raider, other fans appear to want the signal caller on their favorite team

Derek Carr can be my QB any day, sports producer Jason Romano said

Carr is certain to be one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the league this offseason

If a deal is to be made for the former Raider, expect it to happen before February 15th. Carr's $40.4 million in salary over the next two years becomes guaranteed if the Raiders fail to move him before that date
